sort of

I got the job!

but ummm… technically I can’t cross this off my list, as I still have my old one, so I guess it’s not “changing” jobs.

It’s stupid, now that I actually can ditch the other one, I’m finding excuses not to. lol I’ll see how I go juggling them, and see what happens. If I can get through the xmas period, it should be okay!

Right.

So clearly colesmyer isn’t going to happen any time soon. Never got back to me after the initial test.. maybe as I missed the chrissie casual postions, so it’ll be a while before any suitable positions come up. Whatever. And most other places have sort of fizzled. BUT, I have a job interview on Friday…

the 13th!! :/

This could be interesting. meh. Got through the group interview (first one I’ve ever done… man it was stupid!) so shouldn’t stress over it I guess.

It’s only a stupid retail position (due to my student status) so I know I shouldn’t be complaining as this is hardly going to be the rest of my life! But still.. I desperately need a change.

colesmyer hahahah

Time for a change, methinks :)
I’m only a student, so I’m not talking career here, only my casual work. But lately the shifts have been dwindling, because I’m now 18 and one of the older girls (and therefore more expensive to put on). So I actually filled in an application for colesmyer but at least they’re flexible for people with availability such as mine.

I love the people I work with, and the customers… (well.. most of them. Some I definitely won’t miss, hehe!) but what good is all that when you’re not making any money? And its a sad but true fact of life that I can’t get to where I want to be without some cash behind me.

SO, I’m applying. That’s it, it’s final. All that’s left is my manager’s name as a referee!

Hope I get a job out of this. wish me luck!!
