read all of Jane Austen's novels

Finished Emma :)
So happy about the outcomes, even if they were fairly obvious to us once the story got going; I think that’s half of what made it such page-turning reading for me, I just wanted to see it get into Emma’s skull! I really liked her, and was just a little disappointed at the way the friendship between Emma and Harriet languished at the end. But there was enough of the unknown and mysterious (at least to me lol!) to keep my curiosity piqued.

I’m trying to decide whether Northanger Abbey or Mansfield Park will be next… I’m thinking Northanger Abbey. No real reason though! :D

... and am really liking it.

I like the character of Mr Knightley… but Mr Elton is clearly crushing on Emma in a big way :) and I’m worried that he will be her intended love interest. I hope not; he’s annoying! Maybe things will happen to change my opinion?

I recently read Pride and Prejudice for the first time, and wasn’t sure what to expect – would I hate it? Would I read it only because I felt obligated to (given its “classic” status)? Would I give up on it?

But, I loved it!

And now I can’t wait to read more from Jane Austen. :)
