I don’t really have any quantitative way to determine if I have been productive at work. However, I just feel like I have been getting more done.

Last Friday I stayed until 12:30 in the morning trying to finish my script. While it wasn’t ideal, I did finish it. Today, I made some minor modifications to it. However, overall, I am happy with my work.
I have been doing this. I haven’t been on the internet at all, and I have also been keeping lunch breaks to an hour with the exception of weight watchers. I have been working really hard on getting a release out, and Ram gave me a new assignment. I am happy to be busy.
I did really well. However, I have a presentation on Friday that is giving me a lot of stress. It’s causing me to eat more and gain weight.
I am doing well, but I got waylaid by RAM. He is giving me other stuff to do besides working on HDIF. He wants me to investigate whether or not something can fit on an ASM disk. Crap!! I keep sending him the answer: No. But he keeps asking me the question in different ways. I think I want to tell him that I want to work on the HDIF stuff because the presentation is on Friday.
I don’t want to work myself into writer’s block like I did when I first started this job, but I want to get this tool working the way that I want.
I want it to
-look like the specs in the Word doc that Ram sent to me. – Today.
-put the flags in the config file that Paul B. suggested. – Today.
-get the upgrade menu to appear only when needed. – Monday/Tuesday.
-make the menu features actually work… or at least the ones
that are already coded. – Wednesday.
-present the tools menu to RAM. – Wednesday.
-use the ~/hdif/conf directory for the configuration file. – Thursday.
I want to use my time productively and work at 40 hours per week. I want to work enough, but not overwork myself.
-Make only business calls during business time.
-Leave strictly at 12:15 for lunch and come back at 1:15.
-Somehow make up the 3 hours that I miss for my women’s meeting.
-Limit my time “visiting” coworkers.
-Use the internet and mail only for business while at work.
-Work 9-8 M-W with a break for lunch and at 4 for a walk.
-Work 9-7 on Fri with a break for lunch and at 4 for a walk.
-Work 9-3 on Thur and walk during lunch time.
-Avoid working on issues that don’t have to do with the tool.
-Bring computer upstairs after work and do internet work after work, including 43 things and personal mail and meetup so I don’t feel as though I am missing anything.
