Success! 4 years ago

Well both Ali and Nancy Mac have managed to find me. We haven’t spoken in close to 20 years. I’m sure that 43 Things is the main reason they found me given that it’s googled so well. Cool!!!

More People I'm Looking For 4 years ago

Karen Unger – Aston University late 80’s. Went on to work at a women’s prison which is what you’d expect!

Lorne Johnson – one of my first friends in life. Siblings: Janet, Cathy, Tom; Mother: Joyce; Father: “Mr. Johnson”!

Jordie Anderson – I remember him as a hyperactive kid from the crazy Scottish family that lived around the corner… apparently he grew up to be absolutely huge and is a very well regarded bagpipe player.

Anne McKewan – Vet. Lived outside Queens. Had a ton of cats and dogs. Knew her when I lived in Ottawa late 80’s.

James Middlemas – Redhead, smoked like a chimney, totally hilarious. He was in the same residence as I was at Aston University, Birmingham, late 80s.

... OK more later.

Buoyed by recent success I'm going to go for it 4 years ago

The net can make very cool thinks happen when it comes to connecting with people. Recently, my long lost first best friend from when I was 4 years old contacted me… I’d tried to find her without luck but my efforts to put my beacon on the net worked.

So what the hell… I’m going to list EVERYONE I’ve wondered about over the years and see what my net karma brings me…

What ever happened to…

Nancy MacDonald – from Beaconsfield circa 1970’s

Alison Perodeau – Ditto, Happy Feet, Sports woman extraordinaire

Corina Shah – High school goth chick… got shot in the butt by some high school rednecks… freaky but had character

Joanne Bartholomew – my biology teacher in grade 8… who I kept in contact for a while. One of the coolest people I ever knew.

Nichola Feldman-Kiss – University of Ottawa, mid 80s – OK she is on the net but my missives have either failed to get through or were ignored…

Melina Young – University of Ottawa, mid 80s – I think she was doing film at one point. Had two sisters… Laurie did dance… they grew up in Ottawa

Dominique Roussel – University of Ottawa, mid 80s – Engineering then did MBA at Queens in ‘87. Editor of The Fulcrum. Was a metrosexual before anyone knew what that was…

Paul Richer – arrested once on suspicion of international terrorism on account of misplacing his walking stick during the Olympics in Sarajevo then subsequently doing some stretches outside the Russian Embassy. Approach with caution.

Lianna McCullough – from Winnipeg… was a friend of Eli Turk. Landed in Ottawa for all the wrong reasons but we had a good time… especially on that spring break trip to Fort Lauderdale.

OK there’s more but my day job is calling…
