expand my vocabulary

1. my jocund coworkers make coming to work a pleasure.

2. the group of people outside my window are a bit too jocund and vociferous for my liking.

3. we jocundly sang happy birthday to paul.

1. my kittens frequently sit at the laundry room door, vociferously begging for entry.

2. roger is not often a vociferous person… unless he’s had a beer or two.

3. falling asleep at night is not an easy task with all those vociferous pool parties.

ideally, i’d like to try working the words into conversations each day. unfortunately i didn’t think about this earlier and now it’s almost tomorrow. roger is asleep and my cats aren’t even capable of recognizing their own names. this will have to do.

1. it’s getting late and i didn’t have much sleep last night. please excuse me while i pandiculate.

2. being an avid computer user, i should engage in pandiculation more often.

3. have you noticed juan constantly pandiculates during our meetings? so rude…

my intellect has steadily declined since i left college. it’s depressing. ideally, i’d like to find one new word a day and use it three times.
