make more friends

Really making more friends is an ongoing life event, but for now I am content with who I have as my friends. I know things will change and I will want new friends but I will deal with that as it comes…. I have found that the best way to make friends is on facebook.com, myspace.com, nexopia.com etc. lol… I just added people from my community, talked to them then met up with them, Just to let you know it was in public places and sometimes I would bring my bf with me the first time or so… And actually recently I have got together with a group of girls who i went to high school with and we all had a blast so really you kind of have to just put yourself out there to make friends…

well, i have a new best friend (I am a little scared to call her my best friend because everytime i give someone that title they leave me) we have had a few nights to hang out and we even got our men together with us one nigth to drink. She is a blast to hang out with, only hard thing is she has a kid so we have to figure out times that work with her, i dont mind that cause i am pretty busy working all of the time anyways. Plus a girl, who i was friends with sometime last year, just started talking to me again and told me how sorry she was for ditching me for another girl, really i just needed to hear that from her. I also went out with another girl on friday night to a bar, we had a blast, well i did. I hope everything keeps working out like this, the friends part of my life is pretty content at the moment but I am always welcoming more. the more the merrier

MOvie night was a bust, only one person came. Next weekend I haev plans to go out with Mandy, new friend, we have hung out a couple of times but it is a bit hard because she has a kid and I work during the day so we have to try to work around that. Also I went to kickboxing with another girl, megan, on tuesday and we had a blast, she had to go out of town for a week but once she gets back she is going to be coming with me to kickboxing as much as she can. And I was going to start going to Yoga with another girl, Ashley, but she is pregnant and she doesnt think that she should do that much bending but she still wants to make plans to hang out some other time. All of these girls I have met online and I think it is great, still having a hard time actually meeting up with them. I can’t wait to get some really good friends.

well to try and get this going I created a movie night and invited all of the girls who I have been talk to online to come, so far it is only me and one old friend but some girls said that they might show up. I hope i meet more people this way.

The girl who I just met in person and I are going to be really good friends. She just left for home for a couple of months but then she is going to be calling Canada home. I have hung out with her a couple of times and we get along so well, I miss her already and it has only been a week since I last saw her.

well last weekend I went out with a girl who I met online and we had a great time, we really hit it off. I am so happy so tonight I invited her out to wings night and my bf and I are picking her up at her house on our way. I am sad because she is leaving back home for a visit in a week or so. I wont be able to see her for two months but I am really happy that I have started to make friends. Everyone has to start somewhere

Last week I went out for coffee wtih a girl who I went to college with. It was so much fun getting to talk to someone other than my boyfriend. Also this girl, who I used to work with, and I just went out for lunch and had a great chat and I plan on calling her again. Plus to top off my good luck with making new friends, a girl, who I met online and went to the bar with for my brithday, asked me to go to the bar with her this weekend and I am looking forward to having a great weekend. Oh ya and I am also going to another bar in Vancouver tonight with my sister and her friends so hopefully I meet more people there.

I think that I am doing pretty good on this goal, even though most of my new friends are online. I have met one girl and we had a great time. She lives out of town but she vists her family, who lives here, a lot. She e-mailed me today and gave me her number so that we can go out this weekend. I am so excited. And tomorrow night I am going to a club in Langley with my sister and her friends so maybe I will meet some other girls there too. I have a busy weekend ahead.

On my birthday I went to the bar with an old friend and I met up with a girl that I met on the internet and it was so much fun. I had a great time partying with her. It isn’t much but it is a start

I have signed up on three websites to help me with this. I have signed up on myspace.com, nexopia.com, and hi5.com. Not myspace but the others make it easy to find people in your own area. I have already met a girl who lives in my town who does not know anyone, she just moved to canada 6 weeks ago. We have extchanged a few e-mails and we have decided to get to know eachother online before we meet, just so that we actually know a little about eachother just so it isnt so strange when we do meet. I am happy now, I actually have people to talk to. lol.
