Go hunting with my dad

I asked my Dad if I could go hunting with the guys this fall…he asked if I finally decided to cook for them. @ I asked him if he would just go with me then...he said he didn't understand why I even wanted to go. @ Finally, with a sigh that made it sound like I was asking for a kidney, he agreed that if I pulled for somewhere he was already working that maybe he’d stay the weekend with me in case I needed help. He was impressed with my new rifle though, again, he didn’t understand why I got a 30-06, I’d do better with a girl’s gun…LOL, at least he’s consistent.

I’m a closet rebel, I’ll admit. My Dad would never ask me to join them, much less even let me go, but oh how it would feel to go. To show him that not only can girls hunt, but that I’m actually a better shot than my brothers. I haven’t decided if it would be better to have them there or to just have them over and show them the trophy that I got when I went without them. :D
