Getting there
I looked in the mirror today and I was like “Morgan, you look good!”
I’m starting to say this more often than not and it feels really good to say it. It means that I’m able to do things easily. I went shopping the other day and now I’m a medium! I remember those days when I went shopping and I was an extra large or a large. I still am going to hang onto the looser clothing, but I use them for purposes such as sleeping in. Loose clothing always feels nice. =]
My future six pack is well defined.. I just need to do what I need to do to lose that last bit of fat and make it really stand out!

Ugh! You know how the image in your brain is worse than everyone thinks it is? Yeah, well that’s what’s happening to me. It looks so much bigger than what it really is. I’m in shape.. I run track, play sports, walk the dogs.. but it never looks flat enough, if you know what I mean.
I think there is so much more work that needs to be done. When I eat something, it swells up as if I just ate a turkey dinner. I need to get it to the max, so I can feel safe in a bikini for the Summer. Summer is just a breath away.. and I need to think Summer!

I'mmmm flattt!

It’s so good to have a flat tummy! Sure, I still need some work on it. My six pack shows around the edges. And since I’m losing weight, it’s becoming more vivid. But gosh, I still need to lose the fat covering it! It’s been there forever and I just want to say “Be gone!” and have it dissapear. It’s annoying otherwise.
My tummy will be flat but then after track stops, it goes back to being slightly flabby until I work it off again. I’ve got to make a permanent note to myself to not lose track of my goals so easily..

I had such a bad day today.
I can barely feel my neck and it’s from crunches.. Oh man, today is just not my day and it’s making me really unmotivated..

Yeah, I did! I needed it though. Last night I went to go see Juno (excellent movie, by the way) and my mother and I ate a big huge bowl of popcorn! It was awful.. and pop too which always makes me have to go to the bathroom during some of the best scenes!
So after I got home, chilled out for awhile.. I came back to my baby, treadmill <3, and ran three miles. Then I did an ab workout (6 sets of 50) and then I did a Super 12. So my abs got it last night, but I knew I needed it.
Mehh it’s still coming along. I need to start focusing on dieting more…

Okay so a few days ago I was sitting at lunch and my friends and I are usually loud and obnoxious and no one has said anything to us because they probably wouldn’t have to.. haha.. anyway, one day I tried to get my friend’s attention by yelling loudly.
Well another table heard and a couple of the guys turned to look at me and the one kid goes, “Shut up you fat b*tch” I was just on the verge of crying but I laughed instead to go along with it.
Now when I look in the mirror I feel like I gained a few pounds instead. Which.. I haven’t because I run/walk constantly.
Some people are just so inconsiderate of how others feel.

I was checking myself out in the mirror today.. I look incrediably thinner than I have in the past. Running for 20 minutes starts losing body fat and I think that’s what did it. The bad thing about thinning is that my bones are becoming much more visible and vivid.
I can almost see that bone in the middle of my chest.. shudder
But you can see the outline of my abs and I think I’ll be ready for bikini season once more! =]

Yeah I made up for my loss, since I forgot to do yesterday’s workout. I doubled the amount I would usually do (i.e 6 sets of 30) so instead I did 6 sets of 60.. and of course my “super twelve” package.
12 push ups, 12 sit ups..
11 push ups, 11 sit ups..
yeah, you get the picture.
I never before realized how much push ups help your abs.. hmm

I threw out the sheet a long time ago to six pack abs.. that was went I wanted a six pack. That idea was thrown away when I started soccer. One of the varsity players said it was “unnatural” and “manly” to have a six pack, especially if we’re girls.
Which makes a lot of sense.
But inside this packet were tips on getting these six pack abs. And inside said that first you needed to gain your abs by crunches, etc. But in order to actually HAVE a six pack, you have to lose the weight in the middle.
Anyway, that’s what I have trouble with. I have a lot of muscle where my six pack is, but I still need to lose the weight around my middle.
I’m ALMOST there, and I can smell victory but it’s pissing me off that it’s not DONE yet because I’ve seriously been working on it since the Summer.
40 minute workout today, running constantly between the speeds of 5-7 m.p.h (it changed every minute). All I need to do now is crunches. I could probably down 6 sets of 100. Gotta up the count if I want to see some results.
When I had a trainer, he said crunches and cardio are things you can do everyday =]

I would say I’m pretty much there. As a growing girl, all I did was get involved in sports and I was pretty much there at the end of soccer. And then I call it a “grace period” while I waited for track to begin where I gained a couple pounds. Now that track is back on though, I’m thinner and slimmer.
There’s just that tummy bump that I can’t get rid of =[
