become a teacher

I start my student teaching on the 12th. I go back to school on the 5th. I’m really nervous about the workload, but I’m halfway done.

I just received my placement for Student Teaching. I’m going to be at my former elementary School; my first choice. I start in January and I am so excited. It’s a ton of work put I know it will pay off.

I finished one quarter of the credential program. 3 quarters left to go!

I start on Monday, July 7th!!!

I’m waiting on my reference letters and my transcripts to get to the school where I want to get my credentials from. It has a start date of July 7, 2008. If all goes well, I will be done by July of 2009. I am so excited!!

I have finished part of my application for the credential program and my application for financial aid. I just need to write an essay and get my resume, and my recommendation letters and cbest test scores. I feel so good about the progress that I am making.

I just registered for a conference that tells Paraeducator’s about the District Intern Program as a way to get them to consider pursuing their credentials. Now I only have to finish taking the CSET and land a job and I will be all set! I’m on my way!

I took some time off from school after getting by Bachelor’s Degree so that I could save some money for Stutent teaching. I haven’t been able to save much. I am going to try to get into the District Intern Program so that I can have my own class while pursuing my teaching credentials.

okay so i just earned my Bachelor’s degree in LIberal Studies with an English option this past December. I found a job as a T.A. but they want to see proof that I have my degree or i will have to ake a proficiency test. I can’t get fingerprinted until i bring in proof. So then I had to request an “Emergency Graduation plan” so that I can finish having my paperwork processed and finally start this new job.

Plus they wanted to see my high school diploma. That just did not make any sense to me.

In January I will start a new job as a teacher’s assistant. I am not exactly sure what the pay is but it may eventually lead to a teaching position.
