and it was a great run. I’m wearing my pedometer today and will wear it tomorrow on my long run so I can see what distance I’m working with.

I killed it this morning thank you very much.
Hmph. It was a good run, though and my legs aren’t very sore at all and afterwards my mind was clear and I was able to beat the quest on Fable that had been plaguing me the last two days.
I broke it open for a wide gait run for the last long block back to my house. Diamonds was the track and worked nicely. It didn’t make me break out the afterburners for superspeed but gave me a nice rhythm to get up to some serious pace.
My best run in the last month. I do the run/walk method and started with a nice 3/1 and then got in a nice rhythm on my second circuit, going 6:20/1:30 before levelling out and hitting my normal pace again. It cut a minute off my time and felt great. My ankles are sore but that’s par for the course. M.I.A.’s Pull Up The People and Mariah Carey’s Circles were the best run tracks today followed closely by M.i.A.’s U.R.A.Q.T. and Kanye West’s Diamonds.
I have a 2.3 mile trek I run by my house. It is about 66% of the trek that I did as maintenance runs when I was training for the marathon. In my recent restart with running, I’ve been doing that run regularly at about a 20 minute pace. When that feels to easy, I will extend back to my 3.4 mile maintenance run trek and beyond.
