I have never come across any forms of racism, because I married a man of another colour. We have a beautiful daughter and another Child on the way. My daughter has no problems or hang ups about being mixed raced. I have always told her that she is blessed to come from 2 cultures and heritages. I tell her to embrace them all. I suppose living in London helps, where being mixed race is not a rare sight. However we have lived in areas where it has been predominately white, and still not faced any racism. My daughter mixes well with all people from different races, & colours. Why can’t others?
I hope, that by seeing this picture of my family, will help those who are against mixed couples, think twice and ask themselves why they have such hatred.
