i wanted to get a run in before work this morning.. but time was short
i went out for 13 minutes and covered 2k
but i went! and thats what’s important
i’m currently failing at this. for a couple of reasons:
1) i have a 12-hour rogaine race on saturday… gotta rest up!
2) before the rest period I just started a new job with wonky hours
3) and the weeks before that i had horrible foot pain!
SO I HAVENT BEEN RUNNING AT ALL! but soon… after the race is over!
went running again for the first time since last wednesday… the week off did my foot good.
37 minutes today – all pain free!
i’ve been having some severe foot pain for the past couple days.
sunday: ran 5.7 k in 40:13
today: ran for 53 minutes today, the first 35 were pain-free. kilometer’s unknown
i might be getting myself to clinic soon. I have a 12 hour rogaine race coming up and I CAN’T be injured!
sunday – ran 5km without stopping! first time ever!
monday – walk/jog for 3.86 km
will do: wedneday – orienteering meet.
and that’s my three!
i’ve got my first 5km road race next sunday! i’m excited!
new goal.
I’m running a 5 km two weeks from now and I have not been training (at all?). Hence the new goal, which I hope to keep up after the race as long as possible!
