Get a new job

Ok, so this baby is kicking my butt! I need to look for a job as soon as I get home next week but I’m taking one or two naps in the middle of the day just to make it thru the day right now! Hopefully this tiredness will fade as I get more into this 2nd trimester but I’m worried it won’t. I’ll only have a few months to work anyway, so I’ve GOT to get a job to save up money for when the baby comes though…. Grrrr

But when I get home in two weeks, I’ll be back to it seriously so we can save up money for baby! I want to stay home once he’s born so it only gives me five or six months to save up as much money as I can.

Going interview with the mom looking for a nanny on Friday. Wish me luck that I impress her and she wants me to start Monday!

From a mom who’s looking for a nanny. She seemed very into to me, till I told her I’m 18. She definitely got nervous there, but not too bad. Still hopeful for a 2nd call (to come do an interview) she said she has to talk to her husband and would call me back. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

My knee feels well enough today for some walking. So this afternoon I’m going for a walk down Park Blvd (the nearby major street) and do some applications. At least four, preferably six but I’ve got to cautious about walking too much and not sure how close things are. There’s a temp agency more than a mile right down Park. I’d like to make it there. If I go slow, maybe I could.

Basically, she didn’t read my application very well, since it clearly said I do NOT have my GED. Yet she offered me a job, told me when to start when I accepted and then by chance said something about it, I corrected her (it was ON my app after all). And now… if I could get my GED asap after my birthday, still got the job. But you have to a resident of the state (with ID, etc) for six MONTHS before you can take the exam according to the prep website I got on. So I’m fucked, basically. Going to McDonalds tomorrow :(

About a job. Got a callback from my application and interview, and they asked me to come in this afternoon. Keep your fingers crossed that they’re going to offer me full-time starting tomorrow at 8$ an hour!

Cause really, that would the most awesome offer possible. Really really hoping it’ll be full-time starting immediately. If not, I’ve got to keeping looking for another part-time job till this becomes full-time, because I can’t afford an apartment on part-time.

And it went well :) She said she’d call me in a few days…. actually think I really might get the job! It’s at a day care here in P-Park, one the kids went to and their mom says its a good place.

Well, I’ve just moved to a new city, so I’ve got fresh opputanties in front of me. I’m trying to find a job where I don’t have to be on my feet all day, and I’ll give myself to Friday to at least have some prospects or I will have to go and apply at McDonalds. I won’t be able to handle that for long, my knees are just too bad, but I must make some money till I find a job that won’t cripple me more. If anyone is in the Tampa Bay area and reading this, knows of a job, for even minuim wage, please message me, I’m sincerely reaching out here.

I seriously seriously doubt it, because I’m still laid up with my knees behaving badly. heh… So Im lettin myself off the hook of guilt now, because I really can’t change my everlovin knees
