Always have something to look forward to

I’m looking foward to a graduation BBQ this sunday and then going to see Dane Cook, the comedian. I’m looking forward to a day and night out!

I’ll be heading up to Portland, OR for mothers day to be with my youngest son who is going to college there.

In less than a week I’ll be leaving for a week-long retreat near the ocean. Its run by catholic nuns. No TV, no computer, no phones for 1 week. This is the 3rd year attending this retreat and have made friends that come back every year. This yearly week is what keeps me sane for the rest of the year.

Wow.. what an experience and was definetly something to look forward to! Flew to Chicago from California on a whirlwind mini vacation and went to Wrigley field for the hockey game. So exciting and the perfect way to start off a fun 2009!

Today would be a good day to start getting in the xmas mood. Everything seems so busy lately that I feel like I’m going to miss out on the whole season if I don’t start participating.

Short term – I’m looking forward to my friends wedding this weekend.Then… in about 3 weeks is a work conference in Southern California for a week.

I decided to take him to dinner on Saturday night to a very romantic restrurant. We’ve been there once before about 10 yrs ago to celebrate an anniversary. I have a special gift picked out which I’m going to buy either tomorrow or friday. I’m going to get all dressed up!

I’m planning a night in the city and a show. I’m kinda winging it so I’m hoping I can pull it off. I’m shooting for next weekend July 19.

now that the 4th of July weekend is over I’ll have to start thinking ahead! This weekend was great!

and then I’ll be in the mountains for 5 days. No phone, no computer and no TV. I can’t wait. My only worry is all the wildfires.
