One of the new buds is opening! I’m a champion!

Okay, I have the orchid stretching peacefully beside my sink. The “New Age Earth Mother” who sold me the orchid kinda freaked me out with her odd terminology and slight obsession with orchid growing. However, for now the orchid looks beautiful and is bringing me a lot of happiness. 4 new buds are getting ready to open. Please Don’t Die.

going to buy my first orchid today…my friend, Kat (an expert orchid grower) is going to help. I usually kill everything I try to grow. the family green thumb obviously skipped over me, but i really want to try this. We’ll see.
