well… i started Beyond Good and Evil. kindof a sorry prognosis, however, since i really need a quiet place to read it, and i need time. both of which i have not really had. so i get a paragraph or so read a day?ish. idk… i guess this just isn’t high enough on my list. everything else is going great, though, so i can’t really be down on having no time to read.

perhaps to Barnes and Noble? I don’t know. To be honest, I cuttently only really want to read Nietzsche, just because I’ve only read a little bit of his writing, and that was in the 9th grade… so I want to really know what he’s about because I’m not really sure. He’s just always intrigued me. Perhaps it has something to do with some of the titles of his works:
- Beyond Good and Evil (read a bit of it… was thoroughly intrigued. i surprised myself in how much i understood at that age, actually)
- Thus Spoke Zarathustra
- The Antichrist
the list goes on. but probably my whole interest on philosophy is thanks to him and my 9th grade english teacher, who assigned him to me for some philosopher project we had to do. this paper/project was probably the only time ever i’d decided to be an overachiever by reading as much of the relevant material as possible in the given time period. although if the subject relevant to something i enjoy or am curious about, i’m prone to almost enjoying a forced research assignment.
surprising, even to me.
