I shouldn’t really be this excited. It’s just an ipod.

The genius bar wasn’t. Luckily, I figured out a workaround using my boyfriend’s powerbook. Why didn’t I think of that before? So it’s not yet fixed, but now at least I have all my songs on it – that’s what really matters.

The discussion thread I discovered above exactly nails the problem I’ve been having. I sent the link to apple through their feedback website. Right now I’m able to put songs on manually but occasionally it will still freeze. I really prefer the automatic updating though.
I’m going crazy with this. Ever since the new version of iTunes and the new ipod software update, my ipod has been on the blink. I’ve tried everything from resetting to reinstalling, but more problems keep cropping up. The only thing I’ve gotten to work is manually adding songs in small batches (2-3 at a time). It’s really irritating. I’ve had it long enough that I’m out of the service period. ARGH. It’s eating up a lot of my free time.
I just noticed that the tags associated with this goal were “broken ipod sad suicidal”. That’s kind of funny.
