Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

Here is some info on Buddhism and I am also a Nichiren Shu Buddhist!

Hi everyone!

I just found this site by accident! :) I was working on some research for my own personal writings. I have seen you all have been asking a lot of great questions on Buddhism. Well, you need first of all to have an open mind and explore the possibilities of what it offers to you. Happiness is inside of you not on the outer core of one self. I have been a Buddhist since 1980. There was always been something about the BIBLE that didn’t stand up with all of my research on it and I am still learning new things that the public is not supposed to know or to be aware of. Thank goodness for the History channel! It makes the more reasons to do more research and learn more.

That is what I did into Buddhism. It was something about it what was so calm an abdued that I needed to be in this inner circle of my own one self and to experience it. so I known deep down this is what I wanted in my own life. And it was. After I have studied and then did research then practice it wow it was pretty amazing! I had this wonderful rush of something that I have never experience before. I have meditate even that is called Shodaigyo! It helps with my angry nature that I do have and try to calm myself down. When you work around a lot of people an I am the boss its really hard to get people motivated at times and my temper would flare up so bad! After I have mastered the Meditations and my faith, practice and studied then my angry nature has left its not almost left lol But I can go through life with out being so angry anymore I am so calm now if and Tornado comes I would look at it say ok need to go and hide and not to get upset ova it and then deplauded myself cause I was being ignorant in all and not using common sense. It takes many eons to have the knowledge to master Buddhism. Its about learning the Lotus Sutra. And to have faith into the practice and study. There is a lot to learn and to learn about ones self.

Here is some info if you wish to continued on with Buddhism and learn more. And you can also contact me at MMHR4733@aol.com as well. If you have any questions please do by all means contact me by emails. Here is your info you need to pursued on. Hugs… Mary
