I’d got out of the habit of wild releasing. In fact, I was too disorganised to even bring books to the meetings.
But I’m getting back into it. At our last meeting, last week, I took five books to re-release, and four of them are in the wild now, two here and two here. A fortnight ago, I released three books at P-Con, a science fiction, fantasy and horror convention. And in February, I released three in London and got a catch!

I completely forgot – I left two books at a “freeshop” in an Anarchist Bookfair. Em… an XFiles book and something else. Perhaps a Stephen Donaldson book, the Mirror of her Dreams.

Finally did another wild release a week ago: http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/1995092
It hasn’t been journalled, but it was gone when I looked a couple of hours later.

Gosh, I haven’t updated this goal for quite some time…
In my last entry I had two todos:
- I’ve replaced the book that went missing on it’s way to me and have started another ring with it. I don’t remember what the other two I was talking about were, but no rings are missing at the moment, so it’s obviously sorted itself out.
Since then I’ve brought books to BCie meetings, and posted some or given to friends, but I haven’t done a wild release in a long time. It’s about time I did one. I did do a semi-wild release in december, in my office: http://www.bookcrossing.com/journal/2172760

Tada:Todo:- Chase up missing books. There’s a pack of two got lost in the post on its way to me. I’ve started an investigation, but need to chase up answers. There’s another pack of two sent by me that I fear is gone (as mentioned above) & I need to call An Post about it & chase the intended recipient (please answer my PMs!)
