I had a super cute kiss with my boyfriend today :) we’ve been together about 3 weeks, so everything is still really new and exciting. I had walked about 10 or 15 minutes in the cold (30 degrees?) and met him at school for a few minutes. He was really warm, just came out of his car. I was really happy overall, and was smiling as we leaned in to kiss each other. He was so warm. He kissed me like he really meant it.
Love? Nah, I’m in high school. We’ve only been together 3 or 4 weeks. But I like him more every day. I feel like my heart is grinning. It took a while to get used to the idea of us dating, because we started as really good friends, but now it feels so right. I had my doubts, I was scared, but I’ve since been reassured.
My friends always said we would be cute together. Once we actually got together though, their reactions were hilarious. One said, “I never though you guys would work together because you’re both such freaks.” Another can’t imagine us as anything more than friends, and freaks out when we hold hands/sit together/kiss. It’s hilarious. A bit annoying, but really funny. Despite having a tough time with the idea of “us”, they’re beginning to say things like, “I can see you two staying together for a long time.” At first this pressure bothered me. I wasn’t over a summer fling, and I thought skiing with him over xmas break would wreak havoc on my emotional well being. I’m now confident I can deal with hanging out with a sort-of-ex (the “sort-of-” denoting that we weren’t really together) while still remaining physically and emotionally faithful to my boyfriend.
We had a really amazing kiss today. I was walking with my best friend about a half mile to school because she had SAT class to go to. It was about 30 degrees and very windy, so my face was super cold. My boyfriend also had SAT class, so I met him there for just a minute before he had to go inside. We had a really awesome weekend, and the good feelings had carried over to today, so I was all smiling and whatnot as I leaned in to kiss him, and he was so warm because he was just in his car, and it was just overall really cute and enjoyable :D
