sleep in a hammock

I started drafting a gift list for the upcoming holiday season, as I periodically think of things that I could use or that I would like. A hammock is officially number six on the non-specific-order list. I feel as though it would be an alluring thing to have, even if it’s just in my apartment. Ideally, it would be easily transportable to the beach down the street. That would be awesome, everyone would be so jealous.

I think I’ll have another go at this in a week when we stop at my grandparents on our way to Chicago. I hope they have their hammock up. This is too simple not to get done!

My mom says that we will be staying at my grandparents overnight driving home from school next month. Hopefully, I will be able to nap in their hammock. Hopefully, they still have it…

Thanks for all the advice. I realized the other day that my grandparents have a hammock, so the next time I visit them (likely this summer), I will sleep in it. It’d be really nice if I could sleep in it with my dog, but he probably wouldn’t like the instability of it. (Naps with dogs are the best kinds of naps, I think.)

I wish I had a hammock to do this in…and a yard to put the hammock in. Stupid balcony-less apartment. Taking a nap in the sun in a hammock sounds so nice right now. (Except for the inevitable sunburn I’d get…but it’d be worth it, hopefully.)
