been a while 2 years ago

it has been a while since i updated this entry. i’ve relocated to singapore and had to adjust with the culture, the weather and the food. Glorious glorious food with fusion of indian, singaporean, malay etc.

So now I’ve gained 10 pounds in 5 months…

now i have to consider going back to the gym.

I have lost around 10 lbs already from 177.8 to 167 lbs.

I’m 4 sizes smaller than I was 10 months ago. It feels great.



almost 4 lbs gone 3 years ago

Weighed in last friday. From 177.8 labs last Sept 15, I am now 174 lbs. Not bad at all.

Now I’m starting to intensify my workout. Things are getting tough and I hope I can still make it till the end.



No change 3 years ago

my weight hasn’t gone down for almost 3 weeks. My weight is currently on a see-saw between 2-3 pounds.

Better change my diet back to less carbs. Seems like I’m not burning enough energy from carbo loading.



Already Lost 20 lbs to date 3 years ago

I weighed in this afternoon and I couldn’t believe what I see on the scale. I’m below 180 lbs. It was amazing. After three months, my hard work paid off.

I have to persevere this time. I still have a lot of pounds to lose until December. My target is between 150-160 lbs. I hope I make it in time.

Also, I starting to fit in a 32 waistline jeans and size 14 clothes which is fantastic because I now have a lot of choices when I start shopping for wardrobe. If I can make it in a size 11-12 or a 30 inch waistline jeans, I’ll be on a shopping spree for a new set of clothes that fits.



eating smarter and losing the lbs slowly 3 years ago

I think I’m starting to get smarter the food that I eat. I’m trying to choose healthy alternatives and smaller portions than gorging on big ones. Sometimes I had to cheat because I just can’t resist some of my favorite food but I try to compensate from dieting the next day or try to burn it off through exercise.

Also, the fantastic thing about losing weight is that even if you lose your pounds slowly….it will slowly gain back.

My weight right now is see-sawing for 1-2 lbs but nothing more whenever I have slide back to my bad eating habits but I’m able to get back the weight that I’m trying to maintain.

I haven’t achieved losing 4 lbs and losing 2 lbs instead for almost a month and I think I’m also losing inches…..

I made a futile attempt to count the calories of the stuff I eat.

The problem is I’m having this nagging feeling that my futile comparisons on the stuff that I eat to its closest food category I found on the website is inaccurate.

You see not all food here comes with nutritional information that I can use.

It seems I can only rely on my guesstimates (hypothetical estimates) but I’m not sure if this is getting me anywhere.

I think I’ll stick with portioning and observing my food behaviour for now.



My first 15 pounds gone 3 years ago

I have started taking some supplements since May and lost my first 10 pounds. I’ve started to enroll in the gym and hired a trainor.

From 198 lbs to 184 lbs, not bad.. :-)

I’m aiming to lose at least 2 pounds by end of August. It would be nice if I’d be down by 180 lbs but I don’t want to put the pressure on me. It’s better to lose weight slowly because I gain slowly. For the past two weeks, I wasn’t able to go to the gym but I still managed to maintain my weight, which is good thing though it would have been better if I continued and I would lost more by now.
