Some of the goals on my page, when cheered by just the right person, make for a funny read.
To wit:
GoodnightGrace cheered inhabit someone’s bra…

Also, I have fallen in love with this site:

I just submitted my own first note. I will let everyone know when it’s up.

To a Nipguard
Hail to thee, protector!
xx Costly tho thou wert—
That from heaven’s sector
xx Givest thy full heart
In solemn protection of man’s most useless part.
Thou formest a temple
xx A little tent of foam,
Cover’d reverse dimple
xx Make a sacred dome
There mayest my nipples find a warm and safe home.
Last week as I ran far,
xx Chafing brought such pain
That blood stains did even mar
xx My shirt. Tho’ insane
I stoppest not my run. Oh! did my chest complain.
Today I used you, wee guard
xx Distance went I long,
Still, thou did retard
xx Blood! Such awful wrong
Thou repellest. Now my glad heart fills with this song.

I apologize to those subscribers who are reading this: I’m currently in the midst of a severe Cheer Drought.
Normally, my cheer bucket fills back up overnight. The last few days, the cheers have been refilling more and more slowly. Now, I’m 17 cheers behind. I have no idea how this has happened.
I’ll do my best to repay those who cheer me, but it may be I have to wipe the cheer slate clean and start from scratch, losing a lot of those in the process.
Sorry about that.

Thanks to the ever-wonderful Calypte, who typed in the recipe for me (thanks again!), I made a veggie shepherd’s pie last night.
I took before and after pictures as it went into the oven. Once it’s cooled, I can try it out.
Thanks again, Calypte!

Things you never thought possible using Peeps as a medium:
Peeps in the Post.
This is a great followup to this classic repository of Peeps research.
What is it about Peeps that makes them the perfect substrate for any creative activity? Ah, one of the great mysteries of life.

While driving to/from Las Vegas this weekend, I passed a huge photograph of this product on the side of a building. It must have been 50 meters tall.
Knowing that Denise would want to order a case, I post the information here.

Where are my damn cheers? I should have a dozen or more to spend, but nothing since more than 24 hours ago.
Grr.

Whilst driving around with Mrs. Monotreme, innocently doing some errands, we pulled up behind a car with this vinyl sticker in the rear window. I’m not sure exactly what it means, but I’m pretty sure Tartsy would like it.
When the driver made a left turn, I pulled up alongside and reported to Mrs. Monotreme that she had short hair.
Utah is a very conservative state, but sometimes people do surprising things.

I have a good friend who is a prosecuting attorney up in Billings, Montana. She occasionally is humiliated by achieving her 15 minutes of fame prosecuting idiots with (let us say) unique excuses for DUI.
Several years ago, it was a man named Johnson (I couldn’t make this stuff up) who was caught driving drunk and literally had his pants down. It seems he and his fiancee were — uhm — celebrating their engagement. Better yet, my friend reports that his nickname was “B.J.” and so his now-wife testified, “B.J. did this / B.J. did that”.
Now, an even more unique excuse for drunken driving.
Who knows why Billings, Montana is full of loonies? But at least they’re entertaining loonies, unless you are trying to drive or prosecute DUIs.

It’s not every day you get an envelope with “The Robots” as a return address.
My black t-shirt came today. I love it!
