Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

3 major priorities above everything else are: have to make the time and put in the graft for the following:

study¬! teeline, typing, business communication. get ur ass into gear. stop slacking. this is probably the most important thing. as of next week, i am going to be studying around the clock, at college at home. i have been slacking far too much.

studies…esp shorthand and typing accuracy. typing accuracy exam is looming on the horizon. i need to work on it on a whole other level now. shorthand…. still got a long way to go… definately not ready for any exams, but need to be learning new lines and practicing each week. new current subject thats just been started is business communication so thats a new focus, change and direction. but most importantly i want to get the typing exam behind me at some point which is scaring the heebee jeebees out of me. its not as simple or easy as it sounds. the hand mind co-ordination/speed thing can totally mess u up if ur not focused and relaxed.

fitness and nutrion. going well so far. have a fitness plan for the next few months, right into the new year pretty much. and nutrition is pretty clean and lean for the most part with a cheat meal thrown in once a week.

work out my earnings and create a budget. still havent done this. this is a must!

go forward with property investment venture.

studying – going to speak to the course advisor tommorow morning.

fitness – do home workouts for the rest of this week, where i can fit it in. get back in the gym and focus soley on cardio for 2 weeks before incorporating strength training back into the mix. start making time for the gym again.

nutrition – going to buy groceries and suplies tommorow. eat healthy, no more crap. get back on the wagon.

waitressing – make as much money as i can in my day job. ask for the busier sections, if i have the night off and i have no plans (as usual) ask someone else if they want the night off and take their shift

budget – stop spending money unnecessarily, budget and save. no more impulse buying!
