“1001 nights without sex – the curse of the single girl” by suzanne shlosberg.
it was amusing and light and i could relate.
currently reading
“the alchemist by paulo coelho”... and i have fallen in love with the story and the messages. i am half way through it.
this is the first paulo coelho book i have read. but i always came across some of his quotes from his various books, and have always found comfort in his words, so it has been enjoyable reading this book and to see some of the lines i know so well come up. really enjoying the story, and this book is living up to what i have heard about it.
i plan to read his other books in future.
also on a side note: i feel not so in a great place overall so hopefully his words will help.

that im taking with me for my 3 week holiday in SA, looking forward to getting stuck in and reading each night. im sucha nerd but so what books make me happy.
i can never understand why people dont or refuse to read. i tried to encourage the last guy i was sort of seeing for a while and he would not do it. i tried to give all the good points but to no avail. it annoys me. i dont want to be with someone who refuses to read.

i am reading fifty shades of grey by EL James at the moment (erotic literature book everyone is talking about). it is good, storyline is easy, its like a naughty chick read to me. its not amazing or anything, its thrilling enough. i am half way through it, im not bored :) its good, ive read worse but i know its not great. think its jsut its subject matter thats all the hype. remains to be seen if i read the rest of the books in the trilogy, but i might, but if i do, i will take a break after this one and read other books interlapped, so i have a bit of variety.

i have read
1) the particular sadness of lemon cake
by aimee bender (strange book – took me forever to finish too… started last year – not cos i didnt have the time, more cos i found the book a struggle to get through at first, once i made more of an effort it got a bit easier, but not really my favourite book to read)
2) summer of love
by katie fjorde… (nice easy chick read)
