Well ...... Almost!

OK, I have not totally quit watching TV, but I have cut WAY DOWN. I may watch 1 hour of TV a week, no more and sometimes less. When Formula 1 season or the TDF starts up, I’ll be watching more!

Holy Crap Batman!

I have really been working on this goal and now I may be facing defeat! I cut way down on my TV viewing and only have one crappy 17” TV…. And then…... My father gives me a MONSTER Sony TV, top of the line, HDTV and all! This thing is HUGE, the box says 219 kg’s! I can’t even move the beast around on the floor, it’s the biggest TV I’ve ever seen!

I’m going to hook it up as soon as I can get some friends over to help me lift the thing, but I am still going to try to not watch it.

I plan to make TWO EXEPTIONS…..
1. This weekend is the Brazilian Formula 1 GP, I have got to see this race on that huge screen!
2. I just got the 2006 Tour de France DVD collection (12 hours worth) and I have to watch it. It’s an addiction and I’m an addict! Floyd was framed!

Kicking the Habit, Sort Of

I have “almost” stopped watching TV, but I can’t seem to stop watching Formula 1 and bicycle races (it is my affliction). I have given up on watching the news (the written media seems more accurate) and I have replaced sit-com’s with books. So far, so good, but I don’t think I can ever give up watching Formula 1 or the “grand tours”.

Mind Melt

I am down to just watching the news, but all that does is piss me off.
