But it’s not official since I weighed myself on Monday. I’m avoiding the scale today. If this does end up being correct I will be at my starting number. sigh

I forgot to weigh myself. Tomorrow. I’ll do it tomorrow.

Or 6.5 depending on which reading you use. I mean really. Some days my scale is so nice and then the next mean as mean can be. I feel like I forgot how to do this, like I forgot how to eat right. But I’m not giving up. The summer is coming and there will me more walks. I’ve been thinking about doing things like sit ups and arm exercises.

Goals for the week:
1. Only one soda (or less) a day
2. Two fruits and/or veggies (or more) a day
3. Journal
4. Water
5. Exercise – something, anything



My scale loves me.

Or at least it feels empathy for me or it’s just plain sorry for me. I was completely expecting to gain 2-3 pounds. This week sucked. I tossed in the towel. I was down in the dumps. I’d given up on this weight thing. Today I weighed myself three times. Twice it was down a pound, once it said down a pound and a half. Now I have to be extra good this week or the weight will catch up to me next week. Oh thank you! I’ll be good. I’ll try harder. I’m back on the wagon.

Went up a half a pound. I thought I stayed the same until I checked. My friend left rice crispy treats (she makes the BEST rice crispy treats) and brownies on my door step. We also had Taco Bell this week. Still surprised. What do I expect? I’m not exactly moving all that much. But the emotional eating seems to be in check. I can’t remember the last time I could say that!! That’s part of the reason why I feel like I should be losing.



Official Results

I gained a pound. I weighed myself three times. But it kept jumping so I weighed myself three more times. Then it told me I lost two pounds. I don’t think so! My scale is whacked! So I tried to wrack my brain to figure out why I would’ve gained 2.5 1 pound. Was it TOM? Was it last week’s fish fry catching up with me? Was it because I stopped pumping? (Still want to look this one up.) Was it the chocolate chip cookies I used for comfort when my back was killing me? Was it all the non-planning? I did well with the soda and the fruits/veggies. I’m so glad it’s not 2.5 pounds. That really would’ve crushed me.

Grateful today is not Tuesday.

Or I would have gained 2.5 pounds. But since it’s not Tuesday I haven’t gained a single pound. Now have I? Not a pound. Oh what are the odds it will be different tomorrow???



Stayed the same

I weighed myself twice and got the same result. Didn’t want to push it with a third time… never know, it might have went up. I’m glad it didn’t. I was nervous. I don’t feel like I was really trying this week, yet again. I had more than one soda on three days. I’m really an all or nothing type person. If I don’t drink any it’s fine but once I give in I want MORE. I probably missed my fruits/veggies on one or two days and I barely wrote anything down.

Again, the goals for the week:

2. Two fruits and/or veggies (or more) a day
3. Journal

I was worried when I stepped on the scale (didn’t try too hard this week) but for once it gave me the exact same weight all three times I got on it.

There are soooo many things I need to work on but if I try to do them all at once (the way I want to) I’m sure to fail.

This week I will work on my side goals:
1. Only one soda (or less) a day
2. Two fruits and/or veggies (or more) a day

And one more:
3. Journal

100 pounds to svelte. Ha!
How about 19.5 pounds to my pre-pregnancy weight?
