Since I’m pregnant I can’t really run right now, but I’m getting back into the sport. I’m planning on registering for a jogging stroller so hopefully it’ll help motivate me (and I’ll need it to help get rid of all the baby weight!!).

We are moving to a more runner-friendly town in May. The weather will be more temperate (Southern California!) and I’ll have a beach to run on. How could I resist it? I’m sure the major roadblock will be finding the time…but the two hour time change should help me get up “earlier”...right? Hope so!
One of those runner girls. I ran maybe 75 miles a week? Went through 4 pairs of running shoes a year? Ate whatever I wanted? Put on my headphones and blow off steam and then take a hot shower and go to bed feeling all right with the world again? Yes, that was me. I loved and hated it. Now I just hate it. It is hot where I live all the time, and I mean a low of 85 and muggy, and my schedule doesn’t allow for me to get up early or go at dusk…and I can’t pop in a run in the middle of the day anymore when I can because it’s so dang hot I’ll get heat stroke. I’m so out of shape it’s not even funny. I want to love running again. I know I can if I just bite the bullet for a few months and make myself do it when I don’t want to. I might not run as much or as often as I used to, but I want to love it again. I miss it.
