new york, i miss you

i usually am there about 4 months out of the year. haven’t been back since april. i took some small-town friends up. that was stupid. i hate sitting on the subway when tourists start talking about all the “weird people,” and freak out if someone different sits next to them. well, my friends did that. it was rainy and cold, and all they did was complain. i don’t get the problem, i think new york is beautiful in the rain. can’t wait to go back, i miss the friends that actually understand why i love it so much.
