much harder than I thought…everything costs too much and the other sites I’ve ran across are inconsistent. But I’d really like to accomplish this so I will look when I have time.

online and checked out some of the suggestions that were given me – After a lot of hunting I was finally able to at least find my dad in the death records and come up with a social security number – hopefully, I will continue to learn more. Thanks to everyone who gave me help.

information about my past. My husbands mom has spent many hours putting all this information together so him and my kids know so much about that side of them; but on my side there’s just about nothing. My dad was so much older and with all his marriages I have nothing of his at all to show for it. I remember a picture that used to sit on his dresser of his mom and dad when I was a kid but that was 2 marriages ago and with his death nothing at all was passed down to us kids. And with my mom dying so young at 43 – and with me being only 7 at the time; I didn’t get the chance to ask her anything. All my grandparents were dead already when I was a kid.I never met anyone. This would be cool to accomplish.
