travel to Israel.

some friends are leaving to go in about 3 days…wish I could go but definitely don’t have the money for it…she said that she would send me some pictures though. Guess that will have to do?????

sometimes it is just crazy how things happen… I have always wished to go to Israel. With the economy though and my pay being cut in half obviously I cannot afford it and now one of the people in our church is taking a tour there in October. Frustrating!

going on in Israel now – not surprising. I still wish to be able to go and see all the beautiful places that Jesus and the disciples walked.

checked into this for me – Wow, it is expensive. Over $2500.00 and that doesn’t include transportation to New York and extra money to take, etc… and that is for one person. Someday, I’d like to go but I was hoping that he would go with me and he said that he really doesn’t have the interest in it… and it would not be as fun to go by myself.

but I think that God may be speaking to me about being a missionary to Israel in my future. During our service at church our Pastor had everyone come up who felt as God was calling them to ministry…people wrongly kept coming up to me saying things about youth ministry… (which I love and adore) and of course do already; but I hid in my heart and didn’t share what I think might be what He is really calling me to.

our 25th anniversary. My husband keeps talking about a cruise. I don’t want to go on a cruise – I want to go to Greece, Israel, and all those great places instead. If it’s God’s will -it will happen.

other day I was watching Zola Levitt and they are doing a study on Paul ( my favorite besides Jesus ) and they were in Greece. Ahhh, I NEED to go there too.

The other day when I was watching Zola Levitt and Jeffry Seif said that it really bothered him to go into churches that have missionaries to all places across the globe on their missions boards but none to Israel and the people…I think that might be a future plan for me someday – to be a missionary to Israel… to tell the chosen people how much Jesus’ love has changed my life. I think that God is depositing that into my heart.
