Learn Polish

Here’s what’s posted on my wall at the moment:

czarny – black
czerwony – red
niebieski – blue
zielony – green

być – am / is
ja jestem
ty jesteś
on/ona/ono jest
my jesteśmy
wy jesteście
oni/one są

mówić – speak
ja mówię
ty mówisz
on/ona/ono mówi
my mówimy
wy mówiscie
oni/one mówią

Starting to understand how to change the verbs now. ja and ty are usually pretty easy.

These are easy!
There is the same word for both
palec = finger
palec = toe

palce = fingers
palce = toes

I have “learn Polish in 4 weeks”.
CD’s pretty helpful with an interesting story, though I’ve had it for a lot longer than 4 weeks and am disappointed to find that I’m not fluent yet. I need more help with the pronunciation which is what I find really hard.

I can count to ten, say hello, thanks and tell my girlfriend I love her. Kocham cie.
Learned a few basic grammar points.

Anyone know somewhere to get mp3s of sounds? Just the alphabet would be a start and a dictionary of mp3s would be perfect!
