clean my basement

How many times have I cleaned the basement? I have had to move a bunch of new stuff down there, and I tore the place apart looking for a computer disk that should be there somewhere.

Still, I bought storage bags and some storage boxes, and the basement is more organized.

Still not clean…

I pretty much stopped right where I left off in my last entry. I did rearrange the boiler room some, boxed up some more things, and trashed some more things.

I am going to make this a priority in the next few weeks, so I can move on. Some more trashing, some eBay stuff, and some sorting still to do.

My basement has two big rooms, one which houses the boiler and my husband’s workshop, and a larger room that has shelves for pantry food and the washing machine and dryer.

The boiler room is all done. I even got things put away from the upstairs in there. The winter clothes are all stored neatly and accessibly there.

The bigger room is almost done. I bought new shelves, and I have to move the old ones to fit the new ones in. I have been working on the whole room, and when the shelving is finished, the whole basement will be done!
