Salvage & Restore.

•4 sheets of pressure treated 3/4” plywood
•1-2 packages of shingles
•4-5 pressure treated 2×4’s
•10-12 sheets of foam insulation
•a set of French doors
•maybe some windows(?)

My wife outfitted our hand-me-down couch with a snazzy new cover. It gave me alotta pride that her first choice was to restore rather than replace, even though she had the cash to buy a brand-new couch.
Once we get done salvaging and restoring the items on my original list, this goal will be transmogrified into a permanent family value.

Believe it or not, this big ball of coiled and braided Tshirts will someday be a rug. It took about 6 mos. to gather the Tshirts (6-7 large trash bags full) and about 2 mos. to sew, coil and braid them. Now I have to flatten it all out into a concentric oval pattern and sew it up, which will prob take another month of work.

Removed the superfluous fixtures so it would stack with my other wooden boxes and then sanded it til it looked good.

I recently salvaged a chicken coop that a friend was getting rid of so I’ll mark that checked.
