be more articulate

I study journalism in England and English is my second language.
I would like to be more articulate and therefore sound more intelligent. it seems to me that the other srudents in my class are so much more articulate than I am.

For as far as it is possible, I have been readin more and have decided that in my summer holiday I will be reading a book a week, which is possible if I only stay away from my computer for longer than an hour a day..
