Revisit Italy

When I was 15 going on 16 I went on an extended summer trip in Europe with my Uncle and Aunt and my next youngest sister….At that age who can appreciate European architecture, the history of the known world, and immortal art???
I was a lucky little girl …now I want to be a lucky older girl and do it over….we went to Switzerland (Geneva), Richard the lionhearted France, the place where Cro-Magnon man was un-earthed, huge underground caves full of stalagmites and -tites and see through wierd looking fish, the Plaza di San Marco, the palais des Doges…a boat ride on the Rhine…..and I was totally oblivious to everything but my overactive hormones!!!!!
Now I can appreciate why my uncle lamented to my aunt that youth was truly wasted on the young!!!!!!
