I am about to begin week 3 of my “Life Change”. I am choosing not to call this a diet because realistically what I am doing is changing my eating habits in a way that I hope will be permanent. I wish I could say that my weight gain is because I am hungry all the time but that is just not true. Basically, I eat because I like food. And I crave things that are bad for me like microbrew beer, chocolate, pasta and french fries.
I am calling this part two because I started this last summer and lost 42 pounds then and I gained back 10 of them. So I consider that pretty good considering how far I fell off the wagon. BUT, I am back into it and that means making good choices all day long and no mindless eating. I only weigh myself once per week (Mondays). The first week I gained 2 pounds (that was pretty painful). Then week two I lost 4 (yeah!) and I am hoping when I weigh in on Monday that I will be down another 2 pounds!
