Upside down

I completely turned night and day upside down this easter. Instead of doing what normal people do and taking a break during the holidays (fuck normal), I worked a lot. So much so that before I knew it, the evening/night turned to morning, and I just had to sleep. Because of that, I slept through most of the day, before going over the same routine again. And again. And again.

That is the core of my trouble with this goal right there. I get so involved in what I’m doing that the clock just flies, and I’m in no way capable of getting up with just 4-5 hours of sleep.

I need the discipline to stop working at a specific time, regardless of how fun and interesting it is. Technically, there shouldn’t be any difference in working at normal hours instead of night hours.

Anyone got any tips for this?

Update

Just a quick update: This is going absolutely nowhere. Meh.

Willpower!

I always have stuff to do. Whether they are important or not doesn’t matter – there’s always stuff to do. This drags out when I go to bed. It gets later and later, until it’s really early, and it all starts over again.

However, it really is just about willpower. What I do at night I can just as easily (and sometimes actually easier) do in the morning.

I must force myself to go to bed before midnight in the weekdays. This has been a good week thus far.
