Finally!!!!

This goal has been on my list for an eternity but now I can check it as done. Since January 1st I’ve lost 15lbs simply by weeding out fast food and exercising like a madwoman. YIPPY!!!

Week One

As of January 1st I officially changed my life. In order to be the beautiful, blushing bride that I’ve always dreamed of being, I must lose 15lbs in the next month and a half. I know it’s a little extreme but 3lbs a week isn’t too crazy… right?

Starting weight: 170
Current weight: 166

Good start, let’s keep it moving!

Same crap, different day

This goal was ‘lose 30 lbs’ for over a year but now I realize that having such an arduous task is too stressful. Thus, I decided to slice the goal in half and try to lose 15 lbs by May 15th and the other 15 lbs by September 15th. God I hope this works!!!

March 26: Start date
April 4: -4 pounds!!!



20 lbs down...

10 lbs to go!!! The combination of Nutrisystem, Curves, and kickboxing class has worked wonders for my body. I’m hoping to reach my goal weight of 135-140 lbs by my birthday in December.

Skinny jeans here I finally come:)



To shorten an elongated tale...

Two months ago I gained another 6 lbs on top of the 30 lbs that I needed to lose but in the past few weeks I’ve lost 15 lbs. Now I only need to lose 21 lbs to achieve this goal and be back in my skinny jeans… YIPPY!!!!!



Absolutely Devestated

For the past 2 weeks I’ve exercised 6 days a week and would you believe that I didn’t lose a freakin pound??? I am utterly disgruntled because I feel like such a failure, gosh this weight loss battle will make a sista lose her mind!

To add insult to injury I had to go shopping for a pair of jeans for a camping trip and a size 12 was too tight. I literally left the store (empty handed of course) depressed and in tears… I hate the person that I see in the mirror.



Can you really work it out?

Bravo has a new show titled ‘Workout’ that has inspired me to step up my game. This morning I did 45 minutes of circuit training then tonight I’m planning to jog for 30-45 minutes. Working out 2 times a day isn’t quite as hard as I thought… oh did I mention that I’m going to be my own personal trainer for the next 2 weeks?

LOL, well my goal is to exercise twice a day, eat lots of protein, stay clear of sweets (except for my delicious 100 calorie packs), and drink tons of water. I figure if I don’t feel/see a difference in two weeks then I’ll break down and pay someone to whip me into shape.



The saga continues

For the past 3 weeks I’ve been busy with weddings, engagement parties, and hanging out with friends and I’ve come to the conclusion that being social isn’t conducive to my diet. I dare to say that I’ve gained back the 5 lbs that I’d lost plus and extra pound or two that decided to come along for the ride.

What a freakin joke, I’ve continued working out but I still eat entirely too much when I’m not preparing my own meals. I am so sick of this crap, when classes start in September I may get a personal trainer and/or nutritionist to help me out because obviously I have no idea how to lose 30 lbs on my own.
