My BMI has decreased from 30 to 28 in the past few months. Hopefully I’ll be able to reach this goal in February… just in time for Valentine’s Day!!!

BMI can be helpful in determining if you do have a weight problem. That’s important because about 97 million adults in the United States are overweight or obese. Obesity and overweight substantially increase the risk of:
- Hypertension
- Type 2 diabetes
- Heart disease
- Gallbladder disease
- Osteoarthritis
- Sleep apnea
- Certain types of cancer
Thus, I really need to reduce my BMI from an elevated 30 to a healthy 24 or I’ll have some serious health problems in the future.
