Mr. Wonderful and I just had an amazing day at the Michigan State Fair and the Detroit Zoo. It was so exciting to see animals giving birth at the State Fair and exotic fauna at the zoo, it really made me miss seeing primates in their natural habitats when I visited Costa Rica and Uganda.
It has been such a rich and fulfilling day, and to top things off we had a delicious lunch at a little New Orleans style restaurant that we just happened to stumble upon. I had a voodoo chicken po’ boy and he had a cajun shrimp po’ boy and they both were sooo yummy!
This has been such an awesome and inspirational goal, so what’s next Dreamer????

I went golfing for the very first time yesterday and it was a hoot! I’ve played miniature golf a dozen times but this required a little more stamina, luckily I had my man to carry my clubs. We went to celebrate his bestfriends birthday and it was perfect because the weather was lovely. However, after walking in the sun for a few hours I was bushed and had to take a nap in the car, who would have thought that golfing could be so strenuous?
Watch out Tiger, Ms. Bryce is on the prowl!

I was able to meet my godson this week and he’s absolutely gorgeous… talk about new and fulfilling!!!! He is such a happy and cheerful baby, I hope to have a little one just like him in a few years.
His mother lives in Nashville so I only get to see her 2 or 3 times a year. Luckily she was able to meet Mr. Wonderful and they got along extremely well. We went out to dinner and I kicked both of their tails at miniature golf (haha suckers!!!!). Moreover, my godson was instantly at home in my boyfriends arms. Doesn’t he look cute with my little angel?

A few days ago I went to visit a Hindu Temple in Pittsburg with Mr. Wonderful and his family. It was an awesome experience and I really enjoyed spending time with them and learning more about their religion and culture.
During the ride to Pennsylvania Mr. Wonderful’s mom told me a few stories about the deities and some of them reminded me of parables from the bible. It was definitely a “new & fulfilling” experience and I look forward to other adventures that July has in store.

For June I went to an event in Windsor that celebrates different cultures by exposing people to various types of food, dance, song, and traditional attire. It was an awesome experience and I’m looking forward to my July activity!!!

This goal is perfect because thanks to Dreamer I’ll experience riding in a hot air balloon for the first time in a few weeks! Now my only concern is what new activity I can do in July and August, but I’m sure that I’ll find a thrilling adventure hiding someplace.
Thanks for the invite Sab!
