and I’m not quite a bridezilla as of yet!
Well, I have had a few blow ups and some major attitude problems but that’s allowed. I mean, I AM THE BRIDE!!! LOL, just joking!

After months of searching for an officiant, Mr. W and I finally found a minister that’s willing to marry a Christian to a Hindu. He is a close friend of the family so hopefully he’ll focus on our relationship instead of trying to convert my fiance.
Now all we need to do it meet with him to discuss premarital counseling and the details of the ceremony, I can’t wait!
Mr. W and I booked our first post-nuptial trip a few days ago. We decided to spend 6 nights in a romantic villa in Tuscany and 6 nights in a lavish suite in Venice. Since the trains are so convenient in Italy we are planning a few day trips to Rome, Pisa, and probably a few more places. I’m thrilled because we were able to incorporate cultural activities, historical venues, and the elusive alone time that we’re both yearning for. Yippy!!!
My fairy tale dress is what dreams are made of! Swarovski crystals, a sweetheart neckline, pearls, a sexy trumpet skirt, succulent silk organza over ivory satin… what more could a little tyke ask for?
My life would be so much easier if only I could find a gown that I adore. I am torn between dresses by James Clifford, Winnie Couture, and Pronovias. So which one should I choose? The gown (pictured above) that will end up being a minimum of $500 over my budget after I buy the accessories or the one that is $700 under budget but doesn’t give me butterflies in my stomach every time I see it?
Am I wrong for yearning for a “WOW” factor and going over my budget to achieve it?
Now all of the big things are scheduled so we can start tackling the little items. Moreover, I am doing a splendid job at avoiding the “bridezilla” title:)
We booked the reception hall last Monday so now we officially have a date: March 22, 2008!!!
One task down, over 150 to go… YIPPY:)
We’ve been engaged for only two days and I’ve already had a nightmare about visiting decrepit reception halls and franticly trying to find a church. I woke up in a cold sweat with a throbbing headache… YIKES!
To be perfectly honest I’m already starting to feel a little stressed, and this is definitely a disconcerting sign seeing that we have over a year to plan the wedding!
