have more fun with my partner

We’re not in the same country for the next two weeks…and I called him last night. He is NOT a phone person, and he didn’t feel well on top of it all. So there was definitely LESS FUN involved. Boo.

We bought a “night on the farm” at an auction and got away. My folks stayed with the kids. We had hours of adult conversation with interesting people. Walked around and looked at the environmental restoration work they’re doing. Heard the history of the 120 year old house (old for the U.S….)

I may be getting close to checking this one off!

We’re going away over night this weekend. This week has not been fun with him – he’s stressed out and doesn’t want to have much fun with anyone. Hoping for a good weekend.

Work, adorable children (AC) make it hard to remember that yes, we do love each other and can have fun together. We’re going out this weekend to look at old houses. I’m going to make an effort at it – after all, I will be living with this man for the rest of my life, and if I can’t have fun with him, then with whom?
