Finish decorating and organizing my entire home

Bought and received furniture for Mason’s room. Chose theme (aliens/space from potterybarnkids) and should receive bedding and accessories this week.
Next step is baby’s nursery and choosing curtains for the family room.

Ordered furniture for Mason’s “toddler” room. New couch and chair are coming Friday, are going to organize the basement a little before to put other kids so rec room down there will be kind of started. Am going to meet with designer next week to look at various curtain samples for family room as well.

In the next week we are getting brand new wooden blinds on most downstairs windows! We are also getting our new sectional couch and big chair for family room!
Next step is attractive toy bins for family room, ordering all stuff for 2 kids rooms, working on photo wall in family room, buying a rug for front door, choosing curtains for family room…

Found the perfect picture for my dining room. It actually was the one we had in the living room, it fell off the wall and I put it in the dining room to store until it could be hung up again. Almost instantly, I noticed how great it looked against the yellow in the dining room. Now need something on the other side in the dining room and maybe a plant and it will be almost done. And that opens the living room up now to more possibilities.
Also finally got the curtains in the bedroom – custom made blue velvet. Love them. Need lamps, pictures, mirror, end table now in bedroom and that should be done.
Started organizing the basement this weekend. Went through pile of stuff to go back into garage, came up with a bunch of stuff to get rid off, worked on storage closet, organized future craft room.
Trying to assign myself at least one project to complete each week, whether that is buying something for the house or just relegating time towards organizing a drawer or closet. This weeks project is ordering blinds for the downstairs level window, searching for art for living room and kids’ rooms on the internet and/or catalogues, and organizing basement which I already worked on.

I have beautiful new living room furniture bought for my family room (red sectional, big plush chair in olive, coordinating pillows) and just got the walls painted bradstreet beige which I love! Also painted the dining room buff and got rid of the rug in there. Moving forward.
Next projects are to order blinds, work on totally redoing the guest bath, staining mantel in family room, putting shelves in family room TV hole with door, and working on travel photo wall in family room. Finally everything is going to be coming together.

Am slowly working now on the family room. I have a distressed black tv stand being delivered tomorrow. Also am going to choose a paint color for the master bedroom in the next week or so.
