it’s simple, yeah, but i like the website…
i think the basis of this goal is reading. reading up on Islam is a good way to start. we should know the reason (and intention) behind our actions (yes, even if it’s a good deed). questioning WHY we pray or WHY we DON’T, is a way to start.
it is important to expand our knowledge in our Deen. then not only will we be able to explain Islam properly to others (i.e. easier to perform da’wah) but we will have a stronger understanding in what we believe in. the prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) did say that we should ‘seek knowledge even unto China’.
just pick up a book and read. a booklet will do, even. a simple step like reading a surah from the Qur’an and a Hadith a day shouldn’t be too hard to gain at least a few grains of knowledge of Islam.
