Save money

rather than the mall?? Got a nice skirt and pair of jeans. Hey, I’m turning into my mother, but at least I’m saving money ^___

I’ve been trying to earn/save money without any job… More or less successful- so far I’ve managed to get to $115, but I think I would have spent that already if it wasn’t in a special savings account. ^^; But now that I’m finally starting my new job, things should be a lot easier~

So far, in a month and a half I’ve saved enough money to cover half of my semester tuition, and parents are covering other half, thank God… But money’s going to be extremely tight until I find a part-time job!! I must be proactive.

Today I made $9.65 from recycling old bottles and cans. But then I spent about $15 on drinks and sushi. Which means I’m still on the negative side of the saving line… Grrr…

gradually collected by my change-emptied pockets for the past year and a half??

(The exact number turned out to be one thousand and eighty-nine, or $10.89 worth of pennies. Plus two dimes and a few pieces of penny-resembling foreign currency.)

Not much, but at least it’s all going to the bank tomorrow~ :D
