get to level 50 in City of Heroes

My ice/kin controller hit 40 the other day.

The boyfriend recently got back into this game, which means that now I am playing again sometimes. It like this: CoH is the only MMORPG I really play, and I generally only play it if I have someone to play with. So, maybe I’ll get to level 50 after all.

Obviously I don’t play very often, but I’m excruciatingly close to thirty now, which is awesome. I just don’t like playing every day, when there are other things to do. Or, for several hours at a time, for that matter. Still, having fun inching my way to the top. :)

Oh, and I had about four free costume changes on her, so she got a new skirt and hair as well. She looks hot.

Also did my free respec on my first character, a blaster, but she is still hard to solo with.

I have reached 19 with my magical controller, and tonight I am going to hit twenty, and go on the cape mission. I’m starting to get addicted to this game, which is something I never thought I’d do.

...Is this dangerous? :P

And here is why:

I just got to level 11 with a controller… every time I get about this far with a new character, I go create a new one!!! But, this one is so cool. I think I’ll keep playing with her.

Sometimes I think maybe it’s lame that I keep making female characters, and that I should make some guys, but I always end up playing the girls more. I sort of like pretending that’s me out there, lol.

So, I had gotten to 11 with my blaster, and all of a sudden, I was supposed to fine a bunch of clockwork, and there weren’t any around, and I was getting irritated. I decided to switch to my scrapper for a while, and I discovered something. Scrappers kick ass! So, I am now trying to level up my scrapper. Her name is Tiny pirate, and she is tiny… and a pirate. :D

yeah, I’ve gone up one lousy level. I just can’t play for too long because I stare at the screen and get sick. If I’m playing alone, I can stop when I feel like it, but if I’m playing with a friend, I try to hang in, and zone out really bad. I don’t really like to look at the game for more than about 15 minutes.

It’s going to be a very long game.
