Wow, the Beer's Not THAT Good

Okay, so their website now says that they are booked through October. In attempts to try to make a reservation in November (since their website is not clear as to how to go about getting a tour), I called the phone number listed under the tour section of their website. When I called, I mentioned that I was aware that they’re booked through October, and then they told me that they’re actually booked through November. Apparently, I have to call on the 1st of the month (2 months prior) at 9 o’clock in the morning in order to get in. I think this goal is just becoming more of a thing to check of my list now, as I’m not that interested in the beer. I can get a better free brew tour just across the bay at Pyramid by just walking in the door at the right time. Regardless, I’ve set a note in my calendar to call on the 1st of October in order to try to get a tour set at some point in December. Maybe I should try to get a bigger group together and make the tour worth it.

Booked Solid for the Summer

I just took a visit to the Anchor Steam website to find out tour availability. Looks like they are booked solid through the month of August and will be taking reservations for their September tours beginning in July. Now, I just have to remember to call them so I can get on a tour.

Getting on a tour at Pyramid was much easier: just show up at their tour time, walk around, and taste some samples. However, Pyramid is probably the lesser known of the two local breweries. It’s okay; tasting local beer should be good at any time of the year, and I am patient since I don’t plan on leaving San Francisco any time soon.
