Might even hit 4 times this week

Mon – water aerobics 1 hr
Thurs am – 45 minutes cardio (avg hr 159) & 175 crunches
Thurs pm – water aerobics 1 hr

Friday still pending but I’m sure I’ll do something in the gym tomorrow. Most classes are canceled for the holiday but the gym is still open regular hours.



I am proud of myself

So I committed myself to 3 days a week last week and I did it. I am making the same commitment to myself this week as well. I think baby steps are always a good idea because otherwise you get overzealous and end up quitting. Change is slow and gradual if it’s going to be successful.



Well..

I found a workout buddy….I think. lol So far I’ve had 2 out of 2 no shows. I got a call on Monday but not today so I’m not sure what happened. I wanted an exercise buddy so I would feel obligated to go to the gym. So I have changed my thinking…hopefully my buddies schedule will work out to where she can join me, but if not I am still obligated to go…I owe it to myself. I bought myself a new mp3 player today and loaded it with 1gig of music to be ready for Fridays workout. I also bought a pedometer the other week so I could see how far I am walking when I am at work. Well I tracked myself on Sat, Sun & Tues and had a shocking total of 28.1 miles. Isn’t that insane?? That includes from my parking garage to my spa, all the walking through out the day and back. (Sat=9.3 miles Sun=10.6 Tues=8.2) I knew I walked a lot but I was guess maybe 4 or 5 miles a day on a busy day, but I had no idea!!

Monday – 45 mins treadmill burning 373 calories with and avg HR of 144
Wednesday – (today) 45 minutes treadmill burning 500 calories with and avg HR of 163



my biggest challenge

I have the hardest time committing to this goal. I just found a workout partner that I can commit to 4 days a week with for how our schedules work so this should be good because I will feel more obligated to go. Once I get into the habit I will crave it and it will be a breeze. Amazes me how stubborn I am about this sometimes but I am working past this slowly but surely.



ok so here we go

I committed myself to getting to the gym twice this week (Wed to Wed)and I achieved it. I am committing to the same thing this week as well, hopefully I can do more. It’s 12:45am right now but when I get done I am going to get up on walk to the gym and get on the treadmill rather I like it or not! LOL I have been on a weight loss program for 8 weeks and I am down 34.6lbs with only going to the gym those 2 days last week so I figure if I get my hind end in gear I can really burn off these extra pounds. I have been putting it off cause I hate working out alone and have been waiting for all the people who keep saying they will do it but always come up with some reason not to. I finally realized I had to get over it and quit using that excuse. I went and bought myself an MP3 player and uploaded about 1GB of music to it. I will do it even if other people don’t do it with me. Who knows maybe it will inspire them to start working out if I get going on my own. FEEL THE BURN BABY!! Besides I can do some water aerobics too cause I bought myself a cute new bathing suit when I hit 25lbs. Might as well get some use out of it before it doesn’t fit anymore at the rate I am going. : )



very proud of myself

So today Ireally wanted to call my trainer and cancel my session. I have not been feeling good for a few days. I didn’t I went and did my normal 90 minute session. I struggled a little but didn’t quit. I feel like I really accomplished something.

Well I met with my trainer Sunday and worked my legs and today to work my arms, of course I worked abs both days. It is slowly getting easier. (don’t tell my trainer…lol) It’s getting close to that craving it stage….makes it so much easier when you get there!!



first real day

Ok so today was my first real day with the trainer. I did cardio and we trained my arms. I will be training my legs Sunday with him. Thats all the weight training he wants me to do for now. I will be doing cardio 6 days a week. I also bought all my supplements today. So here goes!!



Going to start today.

I am taking a load of stuff to Goodwill today. Then I am going to decide on a gym to join. It will be short term because I will be moving in a few months. I plan on being pretty hardcore for the next few months. Hopefully I can find a dedicated workout partner…that will make things a lot easier. I may also start dancing for 30-60 minutes a a few days a week. What better way to get cardio in and have fun…yippie!!
