For some of us it’s a choice for others it’s a way of being. I think I’m in the latter category and I used to beat myself up pretty bad each time I would procrastinate (like now for example)... I try not to do so much of that anymore but instead focus on the moment when I realize – “I’m procrastinating.” In that moment, there’s an opening where I can redirect my attention to what’s really pressing (and what I’m obviously avoiding) or I can give myself a free pass for a set amount of time, then get on it.
